Today, Abigail did a curator's talk at Bag Lord's 'The Rubbish King' exhibition currently being held at Thimblemill Library.
The exhibition is part of a series of 5 exhibitions happening at libraries around Sandwell, which will see the exhibitions change and evolve as they move from Thimblemill Library, Smethwick Library, Great Barr Library, Wednesbury Library and West Bromwich Central Library. *discovery room hosts art in these library spaces, all curated by Abigail Villarroel.

We initially organised this with Abigail with the artists who are part of Wednesday Warm Welcome but shared this with our members, volunteers and the public and had about 10 people turn up - great for a Wednesday afternoon in the summer holidays.
Abigail gave their own insights into Bag Lord's work, using rubbish to create different types and forms of art, the placement of different pieces across the library, and was a really added bonus to visiting the exhibition.

This exhibition runs until September 17th at Thimblemill Library, and if anyone is interested in coming along to another curator talk by Abigail in September, please email at admin@bearwood.cc so we can organise another one!
