Playgroup Donation

Over lockdown Sandwell NEU started an initiative to create access to educational resources for those struggling during the pandemic. So far they have donated £8000 worth of materials to local schools and organisations to enrich and spark creativity amongst young people . This fully aligns with what we are trying to achieve here at the Hub by allowing children room to have fun, express themselves as well as have a go at new things.

Today, Rose and Paul delivered books, paints and craft packs to us here at the Hub! Our playgroup has already dug into the books to see what books there are and what’s in the craft packs. Rose and Paul are local members of the community who have been involved in projects at the Hub like the Bearwood Tapestry as well as their kids taking part in our play groups. We are so grateful that they decided to donate to us and we can already see the impact that this will have on our playgroup.
